Lenore passed away at her home in Fort Worth Texas. She was born in Everett Washington. During her lifetime, Lenore was a faithful attendant at the Bland Reunions. I last saw her at the 2001 Reunion in St. Joseph Missouri. Like Leota Ruder and Al and Mildred Hunter below, Lenore descended from the Bland family of Duplin County North Carolina, James Bland C1749-1799) and his wife Bathsheba, (Family Line 25A6A). Lenore married Earl D. Brown on December 7, 1947. Following Earl’s death in 1996, Lenore married Albert Nichol. In her lifetime, she was a teacher, gaining a master’s degree in education from Texas Christian University in 1970 and teaching in the schools in Paris Texas. She was a very able family historian who contributed a great deal to what we know of her family line.
