Teresa Darlene Bland-Kiser, 50, of Pana died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in her home. She was born June 6, 1961 in Pana, the daughter of Earl & Carolyn (Wise) Bland.
She attended Tower Hill Community Schools, where she was a graduate, and Lake Land College. Teresa had worked as a sales clerk for Nohren’s, Inc.; a waitress at Bob’s Steak House; Registration Clerk for Pana Community Hospital; Teachers Aide for Mid-State Special Education; preschool child care for Lighthouse Learning Center; and was a Center Aide for CEFS Head Start. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Pana; and Pana Parent Teachers Organization where she held all 4 offices. She volunteered her talents as an assistant Girl Scout leader; an elementary school room mother/classroom volunteer; and a Junior Varsity cheerleader helper and fundraiser.
Teresa was united in marriage with Dennis J. Kiser on August 12, 1978 in First Church of the Nazarene, Pana.
She is survived by her husband: Dennis J. Kiser, Pana, IL; daughters: Jenny Marie Hedderich & husband Jim, of Shelbyville, IL; Tera Diane Kiser, of St. Louis, MO; Nicole Lynne Gruen & husband Grant, of Chatham, IL; 2 grandchildren: Ava & Owen Hedderich. brothers & sisters: Trace DeMeyer-Hentz & husband Herbert, Greenfield, MA; William “Butch” Bland & wife Brenda, Pana, IL; Daniel Bland & wife Kathleen, Taylorville, IL; Terry Bland & wife Suzanna, Roselle, IL; and Michael Bland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Hiram & Lona Dell Harlow Bland; Robert Wise; and Myrtle Devaney Wise.                 Find a grave
